These Super drum Mini Drum filters have been produced to provided an entry level into the drum filter market. But the quality of these drum filters are superb for the price and represent excellent value for money.

Designed for ponds up to 5000 gallons these Superdrum Mini Drum filters have two 4″ (110mm) inlets and one 110mm outlet for connection of the circulation pump, and one 4″ (110mm) outlet for the waste.

The drum filter comes complete with all the control gear and as mentioned above also has a 40watt Amalagam UV built in.

This drum filter, with it’s 60 micron screen will filter particles out of the ponds water automatically with the automatic cleaning process that is built into the drum. Sensors monoitor the water levels within the drum filter and a cleaning cycle is activated as and when necessary to ensure that all waste particles are removed and then flushed to waste.

There are two options available for this backwash process, you can either connect the drum up to the mains water supply and use mains water to clean the drum (a solenoid valve will be required for this option which we can supply), or a optional pressure pump can be purchased which wll be controlled by the drums built in controller and use the water held within the drum to clean the drum’s screen.

The motor that rotes the drum and the control gear have been used on other drum filters in the Netherlands and fully tested over the past 3 years so you can buy with confidence both on quality and reliablity.

The manufacturer of this Super drum Mini Drum filter will be shortly releasing an add on Bio-Chamber that will connect to this drum filter to provide all the biological filtration required for your pond. We will update this section as soon as they are available. This option will then enable you to have the full benefits of a Bio-Compact system which are the most cost effective and environmentally friendly forms of pond filtration available as lower wattage pumps can be used on the circulation of your ponds water.
